At no.4 in the Reverbnation UK Latin charts, this couldn’t a be a better way to celebrate mid December!

We have less than 18days to reach our target and raise £1000 by Dec 31st 2011 for women and children at the refuge center. There is still a long way to go and we need as much help as possible so please continue to spread the word, download Hestia’s charity single ‘Stronger Than Before’.

The download of the single will go directly to Hestia’s children and family projects – these vital funds will enable mothers and children affected by domestic violence to rebuild their lives.

Happy New Year to you all!

I hope that you have all had a rocking start to 2012. We couldn’t have commenced in a better way than by charting at no.4 with ‘Going Down’ on the ReverbNation Latin charts for UK http://lnk.ms/RDXqc !

Also, writing sessions have commenced, preparing new material for my debut album. I am not too sure when this will be ready but what I can tell you is that it will be something special after all, it has been almost a year since I was last in a studio and I have grown up quite a bit since! Produced and engineered by yours truly, my talented guitarist David Saavedra and with a little help from a very special friend, it will be recorded at a very cool and well mounted home studio; the end product being mastered somewhere, by someone who remains unknown ... 

Our another note, thank you to all who downloaded Hestia charity single ‘Stronger Than Before’. We have raised some funds but not enough to reach our £1000 target so, we are still on a mission. Please continue to spread the word, your help is valuable  in order to help women and children at Hestia’s refuge centers.

A New Years Message

We are ever so close to that time and I am not talking about the end of the world, but the beginning of what I hope will be a wonderful New Year! Surianne is currently writing and preparing new material for her debut album, working alongside guitarist David Saavedra (previous collaborations include Chema Saiz, Felix Santos, Nono Garcia and Rafael Riqueni) and artists such as emerging British Hip Hop talent Gak Jonze .

Following the hugely successful launch of her charity single ‘Stronger Than Before’ , she continues her work as an Ambassador for London based charity Hestia Housing & Support, voluntarily organising music workshops and events, raising as much funds and awareness for their domestic violence services.

Surianne is going from strength to strength attracting a loyal fan base in the UK, Spain and Gibraltar with her feisty rhythmical Latino sound and her eclectic band of musicians. Watch out for her UK & Spain tour in 2012.

On Thursday 25th August, Leisure Island Gibraltar will host an exclusive FREE gig featuring MOBO award winner John Adeleye (JNay) in aid of local children’s charity Wobbles.

John's visit to Gibraltar and his performance will not only help raise vital funds and awareness for the charity but will involve John in several community activities such as; photo opportunity for children with Wobbles mascot and John, a meet and greet session for the fans, a tea party with Wobbles deserving children with John as a special surprise guest as well as a visit to the local hospital.

The event on Thursday 25th starts just after 8pm with exclusive performances by international guitarist David Saaverdra and singer songwriter Surianne who will perform an exclusive acoustic set. The stage will be set on Leisure Island Ocean Village, were there will also be a few kids activities amongst other exciting things happening on the night!

John who is very much looking forward to meet his fans, is extremely grateful for the ongoing support to make this happen. A special mention has to be given to the sponsors Parody Tour, Savannah, O'Rielly's, Casino, Bassadone Motors who have made this possible.
